Professional standards and commercial relationships

AIBI is a private education and advisory business with a network of specialist consultants and instructors across the UK and EU. We aim to provide clear professional reasoning and disclose relevant commercial interests.

Specialists often have experience in, and interests in, the field they advise on. A highly specialised consultant may, for example, hold a stake in or have an agreement with a software company whose product fits your exact problem. That is not a problem in itself, but it must be visible.

So the following applies to everyone who works for AIBI – consultants, instructors and management:

  • The consultant discloses relevant financial interests and supplier relationships during the scoping phase, before recommending a solution.
  • When the agreement is signed, we disclose in writing any dual interests that could create a conflict in that specific engagement.
  • A conflict may require a narrower scope, your specific consent or a different consultant.
  • A recommendation is never presented as neutral where a relevant financial relationship exists.
  • You are never required to buy products in which a consultant has an interest.

Completion certificates are issued by AIBI. External accreditations are displayed only where they actually exist and can be documented.
